Why train your dog with us?

Sezan offers personalised 1-1 dog training. With over 10 years training and rehabilitating rescue dogs, she has a wealth of experience training and quickly adapting to high volumes of individual dogs, first-hand. She has extensive experience coaching owners and staff in practical skills.

Sezan initiated the local branch of a successful dog training school in Bristol, and had a lead role in developing course content and delivering staff training for the wider group of internationally renowned and trusted Dogs Trust dog schools; including puppy, adolescent, adult and reactive dog training courses.

As well as pet dog training, Sezan has foundation level sports dog training skills, including competitive obedience, scentwork and tracking. She is currently training with her young Malinois towards the aim of competing in Mondioring.

Dog training is for teaching new behaviours, honing practical skills, improving communication and connection with your dog

We train on a 1-1 basis, using a system of rewards we are all about having fun and creating a positive relationship built on trust!

  • Motivate your dog effectively

  • Increase engagement and focus

  • Learn handling and training skills to make you a kind and effective dog trainer

  • Teach specific trained behaviours i.e. lead walking, recall, settling in public, formal handling skills (grooming, eye drops, ear drops, nail clipping).

  • Rehearse and perfect trained behaviours to keep connected around distractions (other dogs, people, etc)

  • Teach tricks, scentwork, tracking and obedience related skills to have fun and boost the relationship between you and your dog!

We are happy to offer training for any dog, however if you have a specific issue that is driven by emotional dysregulation we will not get to the root cause or full treatment with dog training alone, we recommend a full behaviour consultation which includes training, alongside ‘bigger picture’ changes.

Maria and Sid -

Sezan has been brilliant with everything she has helped me with. She has helped me understand my dog’s emotions better, and even more impressive than that, in just a few minutes of training she managed to teach our very feisty terrier to accept eye drops with no restraint at all!!

If I could give her 10 stars out of 5 I would. She has been a lifesaver!”

Amy and Bugsy -

“Bugsey and I have been on our reactivity journey for a long time and were stuck in a rut of sticking to our same safe walks. Sezan has pushed us out of our comfort zone whilst ensuring we are always safe and supported. We love walking with the focus group, building our confidence in new environments and realising what we really can achieve.”
