Dog Behaviour Consultations
Behaviour consultations are for dogs experiencing complex, emotionally driven or multifactorial behaviour challenges. This includes issues like ‘reactivity’, separation distress and other presentations of stress, frustration, fear or anxiety.
We take into account your dog’s training history, lifestyle, health, and environment as well as establishing practical training skills to help your dog flourish into the best possible version of themselves.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Starting with a remote (video) consultation, we’ll take time to explore your dog’s behaviour, explain the causes, and put essential behaviour modification foundations in place. You’ll receive a tailored behaviour plan, and may record your first session.
Step 2: Flexible Support
Step 2 is designed to give you effective support over a three month period, including:
• 3 months of unlimited, on-tap messenger support
• 2x site training sessions (you come to us)
• 1 home visit (we come to you, subject to suitability)
Behaviour Consultation Packages cost £450. Evenings/weekends are available for an additional £40.

Dog Training
A well as in depth behaviour consultation packages, Sezan offers 1-1 dog training to build practical skills and improve communication between you and your dog.
During introductory training sessions we cover:
Specific behaviours like loose lead walking, recall and settling in public spaces
Increasing engagement and focus during walks
Practising known behaviours around controlled distractions
Learning how to motivate your dog effectively during training
We will take time to get to know you and your dog, exploring training techniques best suited to you both, as well as covering any tips for home life that we feel are relevant. A short written summary is provided after your session.
Introductory site training sessions (you bring your dog to us in South Bristol) are £100, home visits are £150. Follow-on sessions are charged at the usual rates (see above).
Rachel with ‘Monty’ the Lurcher
“Oz Dog's focus group has been a great space for us since we joined a few months ago. It is brilliant to feel more able to get out and explore new places with our reactive dog, with other dog owners who understand and have many pearls of wisdom to share! Sezan has made a supportive, informative and friendly group, in which our dog has made some real progress, which we are delighted about! We would highly recommend Sezan's support to other dog owners looking to learn, better understand and have some adventures with their 'socially sensitive' dog!”
