    Dog Behaviour Consultations | £450

Behaviour consultations are for dogs experiencing complex, emotionally driven, or multifactorial behaviour challenges. This includes issues such as ‘reactivity’, social issues, separation issues, and dogs that struggle with various presentations of stress, frustration, fear or anxiety.

Each consultation takes into account your dog’s training history, lifestyle, health, and environment as well as establishing a practical training plan to help your dog become the best version of themselves.

Designed to give you the knowledge to understand your dog’s behaviour and training skills to support meaningful, lasting change.

    Step 1: Initial Consultation

Usually we start with a remote (video) consultation. We’ll take time to explore your dog’s behaviour, explain the cause, and put the foundations in place. You’ll receive a tailored behaviour plan, and the option to record your first session.

    Step 2: Flexible Support

Step 2 is designed to give you personalised, practical support over a three month period, including:

    • 3 months of unlimited, on-tap messenger support

    • 2 site sessions (you come to us)

    • 1 home visit (we come to you, subject to suitability)

Evening and weekend packages are available for an additional £40

1-1 Dog Training for New Clients

A well as holistic behaviour consultations, Sezan offers 1-1 dog training sessions to build practical dog training skills and improve communication between you and your dog.

During these sessions we can cover:

  • Teaching specific behaviours like loose lead walking, recall and settling in public spaces

  • Increasing engagement and focus during walks

  • Practising known behaviours around controlled distractions

  • Learning how to motivate your dog effectively during training

During initial dog training sessions for new clients we will take some time to get to know you and your dog and explore training techniques best suited to you both, as well as covering any extra tips for home life with your dog that we feel are relevant.

A written summary of advice is provided after your session.

Initial training sessions where you bring your dog to us in South Bristol cost £100, home visits cost £150. Any subsequent training sessions you would like to book are charged at the usual follow-on rates.

Monty the reactive lurcher dog runs excitedly through a whispy field of dry grass

Rachel with ‘Monty’ the Lurcher

“Oz Dog's focus group has been a great space for us since we joined a few months ago. It is brilliant to feel more able to get out and explore new places with our reactive dog, with other dog owners who understand and have many pearls of wisdom to share! Sezan has made a supportive, informative and friendly group, in which our dog has made some real progress, which we are delighted about! We would highly recommend Sezan's support to other dog owners looking to learn, better understand and have some adventures with their 'socially sensitive' dog!”
